Dandelion Astral Afternoon
Fly with me — fly free — wolf-whispers of my heart
Golden swirl the misted sands granting earth-bound sanctuary to this star
and rise with me — transient petals of a music-box song
To waver like visions sonorous taking form from the dusts
and ashes
as a phoenix bloom —
while the full moon consumes
the fiery planet, takes him into her womb;
a velveted space
where all mysteries subside
and so, reformed, renew —
A silver pelt, serpent-coiled and curled-feline
seeks truth in the slumbering desert's stippled afternoon:
Sleep's art sparking the horizon lines
like sparklings of seeds —
and falling,
falling,
falling
Fly with me:
Deep into the pearlescent eternal oceans of dreams.
