Resolution
Reaching up to the night skies' embrace
Unweaving one by one the stars from my hair
Undoing my self to let you fly
An angel on tomorrow's dawning rose prayers
These petals are winter's only kisses I take
and keep
in the velvet box
with your heart
To make up my wings, leave me spiralling there
Leave me
spiralling near
The truth
of you —
All this is only a memory
but never an end or a start
For there is no beginning
nor ever an edge
to stardust (the ashes of eternity.)
I still whisper
this echo of truth
is self —
Be my starlight
always,
beloved —
Undoing that self to let us fly —
My angel of every absent future
and every present's past
That dawning rose is a remembered prayer.
While the resolution remains
with the silence of the copper sands
and such love
defies
this organic tense.
