eNiGMa is an original work of experimental magical realist hypertext fiction: a lyrical tale that portrays an intimate journey into the mind of a creature of myth and dream. Born late in October 2003, and created by lilimist, the story of eNiGMa is a figment of imagination and self-exploration which exists for no other purpose than to seek to weave together a tangled web from threads and shards of dreams. The artform itself was inspired for the most part by many of the interactive fiction games I loved and played from a tender age, and also by similar artforms I have since encountered in the online realms.
